A short (4-7”) growing, low maintenance, drought tolerant grass which spreads via above ground stolons. Its primary use has been for reclamation of disturbed areas, and for dryland turf areas such as lawns, picnic areas, campsites, etc. When used for such areas, it offers a very attractive, soft textured cover.
