You can get a certified 2014 Mustang GT with a whole lot of goodies for under 30k, and those are damn fast (0-60 in 4.2 seconds). I mean, I'm really biased here, but if you want a really fast, newish car for under 30k, Mustang GT is the way to go. I've actually driven in a Mini S and I wasn't a fan. It definitely wasn't fast.
