I wold recommend playing bruiser kha zix at first to learn the charchter. Take conquerer and healing runes then build warrior blue smite, ravenous hydra, cleaver, deaths dance, steraks etc. Evolve q-w- (e or r depending) This build is a lot more forgiving and still does a ton of damage and its easier for new players.

In 1v1 scenarios, Smoke Screen can be used to force enemy auto attack cancels or even ability cancels against targeted abilities which require constant vision to work like Kha'Zix 's Taste Their Fear.
