I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like my SKS is way more accurate than other aks I've used. I feel the exact same way, this is why I never really get butthurt when somebody wants to try and modernize an SKS instead of just buying an AK. I think it's the internals, everything is just solid as fuck. Must have shitty AKs then.The AK and SKS get bad raps because when they were imported in the 80's they were cheap and looked down upon. Second reason is the ammo. cheap steel case with varying amounts of powder etc don't exactly lend themselves to consistent groups. 3rd is the short sight radius.
