One Instant isn't really a suitable replacement for FP-100C, it's more of a work in progress to keep the format alive, much like the early batches of Impossible integral film weren't comparable in quality to the version discontinued by Polaroid. This is an issue on 99% of SLR680’s. I’ve recently purchased an Instax Mini Evo and have found the print quality to be off having a slight colour cast to the images. Compared to using a regular instax mini with film of the same age and storage conditions. On the Mini Evo I have not used the lens or filter effects to try and archive a base line image.Fuji Instax is a cheaper and arguably better instant film that is slightly cheaper. But for both Polaroid and Instax, the cost is closer to 2$ a shot than 1$. That said you're not going to find any cheaper film.
