Ridden a bombora, evasion, and I own an enve bombora. The fork flex with the steel is nice to have but I think the carbon fork is great too and noticeably lighter while riding. Bombora frame flexes a bit more and feels more springy and lively. AFAIK the geo is essentially the same, so it would be a very familiar ride.

Well I don’t think you necessarily have to drop 3500 for a bombora build. The frameset was 850 when I bought mine in 2018.
