Hi. I recently upgraded my Fios internet to 1GB. I have Fios TV and the newest router (CR1000A Fios Gateway). This router has a ethernet and coaxial plugged into it. Ethernet is for the internet and coaxial is for the TV. I'm interested in connecting a Eeros 6 plus or Eeros 6 pro mesh system to improve internet connectivity throughout the house.I swapped the router yesterday (replaced the new CR1000B with a new CR1000A). There was a blip overnight (my alarm system reporting losing wifi at 1:37am, and then it was restored at 1:40am), but otherwise things have been stable. I have it and did not have any drops. try reset and then replace.Speeds were great on new router. Try turning off IPv6 on the CR1000A and see if that helps. If your area has IPv6 that might be causing the problem. Not sure why the G1100 might not suffer from the same effects, but it's an easy change to see if it is the problem.My thought is whether it can be possible to downgrade through older firmware. The new CR1000A router doesn't have this second 5 GHz band so you have to connect the E3200 with ethernet or coax. There are actually wireless pods designed to work with the CR1000A but there is an inventory shortage right now. If wiring the E3200 is out of the question you can either wait on the pods or maybe buy a third-party mesh system.
